dil to baccha hey ji

Tell her why she's perfect for you. Pick her up & pretend like you're going to throw her in the pool. She'll kick & scream , but secretly she'll love it. Protect her. Hold her hand when you talk to her. Look at her like she's the only girl you ever want to be with. When she least expects it, pull her in & kiss her, hard. Tell her she looks ... See Morebeautiful. Tickle her, even if she says stop. =]. Let her fall asleep in your arms. Call her. Kiss her forehead. Give her piggy back rides. Be slow, don't push anything. Make her feel needed & loved. Kiss her in the rain. & when you fall in love with her... tell her. ♥

MY VERY OWN BARABATI

Whenever there is an announcement of a cricket series in india , people first try to find out the centre as to where these matches are going to be held. Many discussions follow up after that , be it the “pan shop” or the “chai ki dukan” , government office or the IT hub , discussions rage everywhere as to why the other city is luckier than their’s.Is it the strong hold of that state boards president in the BCCI or the lack of influence of our own state board president. We being an argumentative nation andthat too a cricket crazy argumentative nation tend to discuss everything from the icecream sachin likes to the favorite “golgappa” spot of shewag , so the venue of the matches only become a natural choice to discuss.
A match being alloted to a particular venue brings in different reactions in different places. For a place like the bangalore’s chinnaswami or mohali’s PCA stadium ita may mean a banquet of earnings for the organisers and a lovely outing for the spectators but for a small venue like our barabati, a match always carries with it the apprehensions of wether this will be the last match that we would ever get.For the organisers in katak it is less of an earning oppurtunity but more of a struggle to arrange the match in the best possible manner so that we get a match in future , after this one. The spectators also are not in their best coz tey fear one wrong step from them, one water pouch thrown at a player , one abuse hurled , one banana thrown on the field may well result in this being the last match that tey r goin to spectate at their hometown.
But I stand up and applaud the spirit of the people of this small state struggling to find a place on the map of indian cricket.Match after match they come in settle down peacefully and enjoy within their limited domain and make sure that their favorite indian team will come back once again. It may be a luxary for other venues to organise a match but for us it is always a struggle to cement our place in the indain cricket map , an effort to move from just a dot on the map to a dot havin a circle around it(denoted for major venues). And after the shameful events that occurred in the so called big major venues like kolkata and delhi, I can sit assured that we will get many more matches to host. With our undyin spirits and love for the game, we will become the eden and the feroz shah kotla’s of the future and matches will not be held in katak wid apprehensions about getting any other match in future but with the feeling of making this current match as big as possible.

KATAKI

I know i will get weired comments from my friends after they read this, but tis has to be written. The talk of ta circle these days revolves around only a few questions , when will TCS give us the joining, what will be ta place, did they not cheat us with the PRE-ILP and blah blah blah........tese questions keep haunting me all the time...but today i saw a differnt light to it.this deffered joining may have made me an unemployed youth for the past 6 months, while my friends at infosys have had got their 5th salary. But it also also given me a feel of what i could have never done in my entire lifetime had a joining come early.
TCS has given me a chance to do things which i had only dreamt of as a child. Never ever had i thought that i would go for a bykin trip tat was as long as 772 kms long just to meet a friend. I had seen many balijatra's but had never got a chance to see it for all the 7 days, believe me i did it tis year. i had seen ta dusheera in katak for years now, but i had never moved around till it was 3'o clock in the morning, had seen ta "dussera bhasani" and ta "kali puja bhasani" but never had i moved into ta procession to dance to ta tunes of ta mystical drums and ta hip hoopin telegu n oriya songs.had seen a few movies in ta theaters of katak but never had i been into ta craze of seenin every movie ta is put up "first day first show" in halls tat dont hav AC , ta sound system is horrible and ta print as padhi says is "hall print".i come out of every bad movie session sayin "thik hey yaar next movie acha hoga".i had only heard tat a man called raghu is ta best in ta business wen it comes to dahibara in katak, but in tese few days i got a chance to visit him too gobblin his "aludam dahibara" everyday and appreciating it everytime. after months and months of rigorous eat outs with my friends now i can tell u which place to look upto in katak which serves ta best "bara" , ta best "piazi",ta best "chat", or ta best soup. i can now tell u that ta omlette in alisha bazar is ta best, ta biriyani at "khandei", ta soup at college square n ta "bara" "piazi" at dolmundai..
This break from TCS has made me feel more "kataki" than i had ever felt over ta years. i had only heard that katak is ta place of "baaban bazar and teepan gali" (a city havin 52 markets and 53 lanes).but know i have seen them all, infact discovered them all. This deferred joinin has made me discover my home town in a way tat i could have never done had it been an early joinin. so a big thanks to ta concerned authorities..
